    David holds a Master of Science degree in Electrotechnical Engineering, a Masters Degree in Automation, and an MBA from INSEAD. After spending 11 years with Siemens in a variety of roles including engineering, project management, sales and business development, David joined Schneider Electric in 2007. After holding a number of roles in China & Singapore, David was appointed Senior Vice President of the Automation Line of Business in 2012. In 2014, David relocated back to Singapore to lead the newly created Process Automation organization for Asia Pacific. Process Automation is set up to deliver to the industrial customers the synergistic business value of the combined portfolios from Schneider and ex-Invensys, covering the breadth and depth of the process automation market – from discrete, to hybrid to continuous process applications.

    Steve Elliott
    Senior Director Marketing Director – Process Automation
    Steve Elliott is the Senior marketing director for Schneider Electric Process Automation control and safety offerings. He is a TÜV-certified functional safety engineer with more than 20 years experience in the process control and automation industry, and has extensive experience in safety systems and the safety lifecycle, PLC, DCS and SCADA systems. He began his career in the automobile industry, serving as a control and instrument engineer involved in the research and development of engine control systems at Ricardo Consulting Engineers. He has held subsequent positions at Field Electronics, involved in the design and manufacture of data acquisition systems, and Silvertech International, a system integrator, where he gained experience designing and working with various programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems. He joined Invensys in 2003, where he has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility, including the role of Triconex sales director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and then global product director for Triconex safety and critical control systems and offerings, responsible primarily for future direction and go-to-market strategy. In 2013 he joined ABB Enterprise Software (Ventyx) responsible for the introduction of a new process safety management software solution to the EMEA region before joining Schneider Electric in 2015. He resides on a number of steering committees and has the pleasure of working with many end users to improve the safety of our industry. He is a recognized presenter at industry forums and events, has published a number of articles and white papers, and is a patent holder.

Gary has patented enhanced safety systems and won a prize for Global Innovation for Control & Safety. Gary has spent the last 10 year in consulting, working fro both internal and external customers. Gary has a MSc in IT Security; was a qualified Computer Hacker Forensic Investigator and has been trained to conduct Risk & Threat assessments; write policy and compliancy documentation. Gary is a certified ISO27000 Lead Auditor Gary consistently provides best-in-class solutions for a number of Clients in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical & Food industries.     Director, Foxboro Evo Offer Management – Process Systems
    Alain Ginguene is Director Offer Management for Foxboro Evo, in the Industry Business Unit, Process Automation department of Schneider Electric. Alain has worked in the area of Process Control and Automation for over 35 years, and his current role is to define the Strategy and the Roadmap for the DCS solution of Schneider Electric. He started his career as an Application Engineer and worked in various industries from Food Industry to Oil & Gas a few years in application and plant startups, he moved to the Sales department as a Sales Support Engineer for France, then as a Support Manager in France and North Africa. In 2000 he moved to Boston, USA as a product planner for Foxboro I/A Series. Back in 2003 in Europe, he occupied different positions as Technology Director, Marketing Director and Director for the EMEA group of Technical Sales Consultants. In 2011, he moved to the Process System Offer Management group.

    Senior Principal Technical Sales Consultant (Safety) – Process Automation
    Bernard Kwek is a Senior Principal Technical Sales Consultant for Safety at Schneider Electric, responsible for pre-sales technical activities across East Asia and Japan. Prior to this role, Bernard spent 13+ years as the Triconex Regional Service Manager and Asia Pacific Technical Center Manager. Bernard started his career in a DCS vendor as Systems Engineer, Lead Engineer and Regional Technical Center Manager over a period of 10 years before joining Triconex Singapore in 1995. Bernard holds a B. Engineering (Chemical) from National University of Singapore and is a TÜV certified Functional Safety Engineer.

    Chris Smith is an Electrical Engineer with a Masters Eng. Sci. degree in Systems and Control from University of New South Wales 1989.Chris has over 36 years experience in Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Oil and Gas Upstream, Midstream Industries, specializing in process control technology, simulation, SCADA systems automation, project sales, project delivery, product development and management. His current role covers all aspects of operations and offering strategies for Telemetry and SCADA systems including the SE Telemetry offers as well as the Foxboro SCADA Systems offers serving the Oil and Gas and Industrial Power Industries within Process Automation. More recently Chris is involved in the formation of the Integrated Power and Process control synergies between the Schneider and Foxboro system product ranges.

    David Lam is responsible for FD APAC Sales and has been involved in the field of Control and Instrumentation, span from custody/transactional Oil & Gas metering transfer, Tank gauging system to Plant process control requirements in the APAC region for the past 23 years. A certified Profibus and Fieldbus Engineer, he graduated with Dipl in Mechanical Engineering, BSC BM and Master in Applied Finance.

    Florent Lacharme
    Global Offer Manager – Process Automation
    Florent is the Global Offer Manager for Schneider Electric’s new Modicon M580, the world’s first ePAC. Florent has been with Schneider Electric for 12 years, originally joining as an R&D engineer in charge of the communication system for Modicon M340, and then in L3 technical support. During his engineering studies, Florent specialized in underwater acoustics, a field that led to work in the military defense industry. He began his career in Paris as an R&D engineer for Matra BAe Dynamics (now MBDA), working on signal and image processing for new generation air-to-surface missiles. He subsequently spent three years in Germany as a diplomatic attaché at the French embassy where he was in charge of all IT and telecom systems for the trade commissions. He followed that up with a move to Belgium where he joined military communications group Thales Communications as a consultant for a NATO tactical communication program. Florent worked in R&D for Philips before coming to Schneider Electric.

    Pramod Rastogi is an Associate Director at Schneider Electric. Mr. Rastogi is based in India and is currently responsible for business development in Asia Pacific for the company’s software business. Rastogi earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Electrical Engineering from the Moti Lal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad in the year 1980. He has more than 34 years of rich experience in Power plant Controls & Instrumentation, Controls design, commissioning and boiler/turbine tuning. Mr. Rastogi has received training in Automatic Controls in Japan through JICA for 5 months in the year 1996 and Advanced Process Controls tuning from Control Soft Inc, Ohio USA.

    Principal Business Development Manager – Systems (Turbomachinery)
    Praka joined Schneider Electric as a Service engineer with Triconex in 1995 where he has hands-on experience to commission Gas Turbine, steam turbine and compressor control system. Praka started his career as an Operations Engineer in 210MW Thermal Power Plant. He has eight years of experience in the Process Automation Field and eighteen years in the Turbomachinery Controls Field. He has served as a Consultant for many TMC retrofit projects and he brings wealth of experience on TMC retrofits. He graduated with an electrical engineering with MBA from Southern Illionois University

    Rodrigo Romero started his professional career as an Application Engineer in a System Integrator, serving customers in F&B and Chemicals. During 6 years he held different roles Application Engineer, Technical Leader and Project Manager. In 2006 Rodrigo joined Schneider Electric Spain as a Technical Sales Consultant and member of the development team of a local hybrid control system which evolved in PlantStruxure PES. In 2012 he joined the global organization as the Regional leader of the PlantStruxure Competency Center in Americas. Rodrigo recently joint the Offer Management group, and he is now the PES Offer Management Director within Process Automation, Hybrid Systems.

    Stephen Goodman comes to the Field Devices team from his most recent post as a Sensor Product Manager with the Telemetry and Remote SCADA Solutions group at Schneider Electric. With over 25 years of management experience in technologies industries, Stephen led the launch and growth of Schneider Electric's Wireless Sensor Network offer, Accutech. Stephen has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc and PhD in Materials Science.

    Safety Services Practice Lead – APAC & Middle East
    Sven Grone is an Electrical Engineer with 25 years of experience in the industrial automation & controls environment. He is a TUV Certified Functional Safety Engineer with 13 years’ experience with Safety Instrumented Systems, safety applications in the process industries and the Functional Safety Lifecycle. Based out of Perth in Western Australia, Sven is responsible for Schneider Electric’s functional safety services offering for the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, including Process Safety Management Solutions, Functional Safety Consultation and Management Services, and Functional Safety Training Services. Prior to joining Schneider, Sven spent 10 years with HIMA as president of HIMA Americas in Houston Texas, and Melbourne Australia as Regional Manager for HIMA’s operations. Prior to that Sven worked in a variety of roles with Emerson Process Management in Sydney and Perth. Sven Qualifications include:

Thereafter he has been in various Management positions in Projects, Maintenance, Marketing and New Business Development. He applied Automation and Software Industry Solutions in an integrated manner to various industrial vertical segments. During professional career, Amit Thakare has gained expertise in management & technology and its application for smart software for industry solutions. Further, he developed a business for the water industry’s smart solutions for entire water cycle not only for sustainability but also as a tool to serve society in a safe and secure manner. He has attended various water conferences as a thought leader and speaker on Smart Water-Software Solutions to optimize operations, energies, chemicals, water loss and managing entire water cycle for achieving business goals.     Hermann Wartinger

    With a background in electrical engineering, Hermann joined Schneider Electric Austria in 1993 as a Support Engineer for industry products. In this role, he became involved in his first projects in the water segment – mainly automation projects for wastewater treatment plants. He continued working within the water industry in his role as a Team Manager for automation sales support and project management in Vienna. Between 1995 and 2000, Hermann was also part of an international team that developed and maintained the SESAME software solution for the water segment. Before joining the Plant Solutions team in April 2011, Hermann was responsible for the service and energy-efficiency business in Austria and was part of the country’s management team.

    Kings’ career started off in Singapore back in 1996 and when he was involved in the development of several man-to-machine solutions. He eventually migrated to Thailand in 2004 and was heavily involved in power related projects such as substation automation and automated meter readings. Through years of accumulated experiences, he has developed strengths in the domain of software, particularity SCADA and Telemetry. Kings joined Schneider Electric in 2009 and is currently a regional consultant with the PlantStruxure Competency Center. He commutes around the East Asia countries providing support and consultancy services mainly for Schneider’s PlantStruxure PES process automation system.

    Dr. Lukas Loeffler is an international C-level leader with a highly successful record of expanding and turning around global businesses. During his career he developed expertise in all areas of management and technology and gained specific industry experience in automotive/aerospace, industrial automation, postal automation, banking and retail automation, airport logistics and environmental/water technologies. Starting in 1990, Dr. Loeffler first worked for Robert Bosch GmbH in Industrial Automation Engineering and Sales before joining Daimler Benz AG in the central Research and Technology group. Within the Daimler Benz group, he later joined AEG ElectroCom, the world market leader in Postal Automation as Vice President Corporate Strategy and Business Development. He later became Executive Vice President Product Management and a Member of the Board. After the business was sold to Siemens, he served as the Senior Vice President of the group’s global R&D activities from 1997-98. From 1999 to 2005, he became General Manager and Chief Technical Officer of the Currency Automation and Services Division of Giesecke & Devrient GmbH in Munich (GER), the global market leader in banknote printing and processing equipment. In 2005, he returned to Siemens as Executive Vice President, heading the US part of the Postal Automation and Material Handling business. After successfully restructuring the Parcel and Freight business, the Airport Logistics business was added to his responsibilities in 2007. From 2010-2014, he was President & CEO of Siemens Water Technologies Corp/LLC, one of the largest providers of Water Treatment processes in the world. He continued to expand the global presence of the business in Singapore and China and served as a member of the International Advisory Panel to the EWT in Singapore. He later orchestrated the carve-out of the business from Siemens and the sale to a Private Equity investor where it continues to operate under the new name of Evoqua Water Technologies. In 2015, he joined Schneider Electric as President of the global Water and Wastewater Segment within Schneider Electric’s new Global Solutions Division, where he leads strategic key account management as well as global strategy development and innovation in Schneider Electric’s worldwide water business, providing world leading products and systems for electrical distribution, automation and control, telemetry and Scada systems as well as Smart Water solutions to water customers around the world. Dr. Loeffler has a diploma/MS degree in Electrial Engineering/Computer Science and received his Ph.D. degree in Production Automation from the University of Karlsruhe. He also attended INSEAD YMP and obtained an Executive MBA from Schloss Langenrein.

    Rahul is responsible for business development and strategic marketing for the Power Industry Asia Pacific, with special focus on South Asian developing economies like India and Indonesia. He is leading the regional team to develop new solutions and enter the new renewable market segments, keeping pace with the current market trends. Rahul graduated from India in 1994, and have worked in different organizations, ranging from engineering, project management, site commissioning and sales and marketing for Power Projects in the Asia Pacific region. He has 22 years of experience in the Utilities Industries across Asia Pacific with special exposure to China, South Korea and Indian power markets. He spent two years in China from 2006 to 2008, based out of Nanjing working soley with large China Power Automation industry, gaining tremendous exposure and experience with the industry

He has been a speaker representing Schneider Electric's solutions & technology in various events across the region. A Malaysian and an electrical & electronics graduate from University of Hertfordshire, UK, Shan is currently in his 15th year with Schneider Electric. His experiences are from technical, sales management & business development, worked in Malaysia, France & Singapore.
