How is a 4-20mA speed reference signal set up on an ATV71/ATV61 and Relay R2A & R2C -R1 & R2

- Relay R1A & R1C:--
On factory default: R1 was already programmed to “[No drive flt] (FLt)”
In this case, when drive is running, relay R1A and R1C will be NC and when fault comes, it will be NO.

Please, find the below contact status for R1 relay operation for its assignment of FLt
Drive is power OFF => R1A-R1C is open , R1B-R1C is closed
Drive is power ON => R1A-R1C is closed, R1B-R1C is open
Drive is in fault condition => R1A-R1C is open, R1B-R1C is closed


- Relay R2A & R2C:--
you need to program R2 to “[Drv running] (rUn)”
In this case, when drive is running, relay R2A and R2C will be NC.

Yes, it is correct if you assign R2 to rUn [ Drv running] then R2 is closed when drive is running.

Go to the CtL- [Command] menu => Fr1 [Ref.1 channel] = AI2 [ Analog Input]
Go to I-O [Inputs / Outputs] menu => AI2- [AI2 configuration] => Enter, AI2t [ AI2 type]= 0A [ Current], CrL2 [AI2 min value]=  4 mA, CrH2 [AI2 max value] = 20.0 mA
