Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management announced Mr. Nelson Yeap is the Country President for Thailand since June 2010. He had worked as the Country Manager of Schneider Electric, Singapore and Brunei for 6 years and another 4 years in the same position in Vietnam with the responsibility for the commercial operations, implementing and aligning corporate strategy and business orientation across these countries.
Mr. Nelson gained more than 25 years of experience in the Power and Automation industries, where he held sales and senior management positions at Schneider Electric’s various entities. Most recently was as a Country President for Schneider Electric Singapore & Brunai and based in Singapore. He holds an Executive MBA from the Golden Gate University. Mr. Nelson was a Council Member of Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation term 2006-2008 and also is a Member of the Board of Directors for Eagles Communications Singapore.
With his vast challenging experience and background in Schneider Electric, Mr. Nelson will use most of his energy on reinforcing Schneider Electric’s presence in Thailand and Laos. He will focus on continuous growth, building more comprehensive energy efficient solutions, running a broad customer-centric service organisation and sustaining strong partnerships and channels. Mr. Nelson will spearhead both countries by bringing total integrated solutions to benefit customers so that customers can do more business with less energy and be sustainable.
